Also mentioned Denny Laine bringing his Mercedes once and getting stuck on the way in. Said Paul was caught growing marijuana on the farm and was fined 500 pounds. Her sister's boyfriend was one of the drummers in the video for the song. She said it was a really tiny thing.and the road back to it was really bad. She was raised in the area and her parents knew the folks who sold the house and farm to Paul. Ohhh it's funny you should bring that up. I pick up on the aboot instead of about and ask her if she's from Canada.

I met an older woman at the pharmacy this past Monday.she's an employee at the Kalamazoo hospital as is looking thru the flu meds. The forum and the internet in general have been helpful to me on all of that as well as other issues though all internet sources aren’t credible ones and I collected and read old paper mags, newspaper clippings and books on him, all solo Beatles and the Beatles for a very long time. However, no one it is can possibly keep up with or know everything. The team didn’t make a mistake from my researching this but it was done on on purpose as legally by then Denny was off composer co credits. and I did question why you’d feel the need to talk about his.huge or big ego as a possibility as to why he left Denny off song credits when that is sheer speculation and if Denny had legal reasons to be co credited, it would have been impossible for Macca to leave him off and there was a legal reason for it that you could have researched without that value judgment and supposition about his ego. Thus, your comment with a possible value judgment reason surprised me. Yes, I can see overall other places on the forum in other Paul and Beatles threads that you usually write informed, researched posts. it's no wonder that John and George didn't want to continue to play music with him. I knew that was wrong right away, but Paul is well known for his ego. I agree, but interestingly enough, I saw a more recent video of MOK and in the credits in large bold font it said "Written by Paul McCartney". Columbia offered Paul a buttload of money that they knew they would never earn back and Paul jumped ship for 4 albums, then went right back to Capitol, probably after extracting another buttload of money from them. I didn't know that that was why Paul went to Columbia - at the time it seemed to be all about money. As others have said, Denny sold to Paul after the song was a huge hit so he (Denny) knew there would be future royalties and chose to sell anyway. Denny probably could have made more money long-term if he had just held on to his portion of the song, but people in general and rock stars in particular don't always make the best decisions money-wise. I had never heard anything about the bagpipe players but I remember hearing about this - Denny was hard up for cash and Paul made him an offer. I bought the single and played Girl's School over and over. Then I heard that it was huge in Scotland and England - I assumed that it was a cultural thing. A listenable song and the bagpipes make it kind of cool, but it just didn't seem like single material. I heard MOK on the radio in California a few times when it came out and was perplexed that this was Paul's new single.
